DMT Hones

Customers always ask how to sharpen a marking knife and the Extra Fine Dia-Sharp® Mini-Hone™ by DMT is the answer. The 1200 grit (9 micron) mini hone makes it very easy to visually set and maintain the small bevel on a marking knife's blade. A few light strokes drawing the edge away and across the diamond coated surface, are all it takes to restore the edge on a marking knife blade. The tip measures .033" thick and can also hone scissors and smaller garden tools with pivoting blades. We also offer the complete three piece of set DMT Mini Hones™ to fully restore abused / neglected edges.
